V for Vendetta

Yesterday I saw this movie once more. It is an undisputable truth how some of the dialogues (no to say the whole script) apply to the current situation of the Cartoon Revolution that runs our country. I really recommend we all see it once more.

May we all find the symbol that changes our world. May it be our vote on the upcoming month of September the one that blows up parliament. May there be enough of us to backup and empower this symbol.

I leave you some quotes for your mind to work upon:

"The building is a symbol. As is the act of destroying it. Alone a symbol is meaningless. But with enough people, blowing up a building can change the world."

V – V for Vendetta

“People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people.”

V – V for Vendetta

“I remember how the meaning of words began to change. How unfamiliar words like "collateral" and "rendition" became frightening, while things like Norsefire and the Articles of Allegiance became powerful. I remember how "different" became dangerous. I still don't understand it, why they hate us so much."

Valerie - V for Vendetta

“It seems strange that my life should end in such a terrible place, but for three years I had roses and apologized to no one. I shall die here. Every inch of me shall perish. Every inch, but one. An inch. It is small and it is fragile and it is the only thing in the world worth having. We must never lose it or give it away. We must NEVER let them take it from us. I hope that whoever you are, you escape this place. I hope that the worlds turns, and that things get better. But what I hope most of all is that you understand what I mean when I tell you that, even though I do not know you, and even though I may never meet you, laugh with you, cry with you, or kiss you, I love you. With all my heart, I love you. Valerie.”

Valerie - V for Vendetta

“When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.”

Thomas Jefferson

Pretty interesting; I am not sure I ever saw that movie, I think I did but for some reason I can't remember it. It is most likely that I didn't like hence my brain deleted it completely, but I might take your advice and just give it another chance.

Cheers!
